Materials: Craft foam, spray paint in bronze, gold, blue, and clear coat, arcylic paint in black and pearl blue, netting, and beads.

Construction notes:
To make the pattern I first made a duct tape dummy of my head (quite funny seeing me make it! LOL I should have taken a photo!). I then wrapped it in plastic wrap and taped masking tape over it in a thin layer. Next a drew out the design of the headpiece on the masking tape, this required lots of tweaking to get it to fit right, and xeroxed the final result after cutting slits in it to get it to lay flat. After that I laid the pattern out on a piece of craft foam and started cutting out the thousands of little holes with small sharp scissors. When all of it was cut out, I hot glued the slits I cut back together again so it would form over my head and glued another piece of craft to the inside of it. Last I sprayed painted it with a mix of gold and copper paint. I also went back and hand-painted in each of the designs with acrylic paint, sprayed a clear coat of spray paint over all of it and glued in the turquoise beads. The blue side pieces, I made in just about the same way as the headpiece, and then I glued them to the inside. I added the hair-net to the back of the headpiece and glued the ringlets in. I bought the hair from here.
